Happy Memorial Day!
I can't believe it was 3 years ago I was newly single, staying in a big, crappy house about 10 of us rented in South Haven. I think I stayed awake and partied for a few days straight until I finally slept an hour, woke up too exhausted and emotional to function and pretty much ditched everyone and drove all the way home alone. Oh the memories.
I didn't do anything too exciting this weekend. I had my first golf lessons. I loved them!
Tonight I'll be going to the Red Wings game!
We'll be sitting in the Legends Club which is totally awesome because there's so much amazing food, all for free. My favorite is always the dessert bar. I'm hoping that a past Red Wing will be up there tonight since anytime we've been up there for a game no one famous has been there.. but, at so many games we've gone to and had normal seats they always show someone really awesome up in the Legends Club.
More than anything I'm praying that we can win tonight & knock Chicago out of the playoffs!
I bought a new jersey for good luck..
It's my third jersey.. so glad it's not white like my other two!!!
Hopefully Luke isn't planning on wearing his...
& No, I'm not wasted in this picture. We were on the ferris wheel at Comerica Park during a Tiger's game and if you have blue eyes you know how awful of a relationship blue eyes have with the sun.
But, oh well. We've matched a few times in the past 3 years..
(Above: Not completely matching but it's the guy & girl versions.)
(Above: Matching Blink182 shirts)

I guess that just kind of happens. We're usually good about planning out what we're wearing to games. I'm not a huge fan of jerseys because they're so huge on me and I feel like a boy. But, whatever.
I'm working on my paper for my class tomorrow so I don't have to wake up at 6am and do it.
Yes, I've done that. Last game we went to a few weeks ago I drank WAY too much. Once we got home I passed out on the couch and woke up around 7am more hung over than ever in my life and I had to write a research paper and leave my house by 9am. I somehow managed to get 100%. But, I'm not risking it.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day! I also hope you all take some time to remember those who have lost their lives fighting for our country and our freedom. I'm so grateful for all of our military men and women who have fought or are still fighting for our country.
These fallen heroes represent the character of a nation who has a long history of patriotism and honor - and a nation who has fought many battles to keep our country free from threats of terror.
